Musician Boshra AlSaadi invited me to create a music video for one of the lead singles of her most recent album "Birds of Paradise"—and "Bottom to the Top" immediately spoke to me. The song uses funky disco pop to explore an otherworldly, empowered sexuality. As the star of the video, I imagined a mysterious alien "Creature" on a date with a human man. The Creature entrances and overwhelms her partner with beguiling motion and sensual touch, leading to a juicy climax.

For the role of the Creature, I designed and constructed a 10-foot-tall puppet operated by a dancer (Susannah Morgan).
