ABOUT

My practice is grounded in two decades of obsession with the moving image. Since high school, I've been inspired by the potential for video and animation to move, educate, and entertain. Since then, I've honed my craft and developed a personal style that emphasizes craft and conceptual rigor.

My practice is grounded in two decades of obsession with the moving image. Since high school, I've been inspired by the potential for video and animation to move, educate, and entertain. Since then, I've honed my craft and developed a personal style that emphasizes craft and conceptual rigor.
Depending on the needs of the project, I work independently or assemble a creative team through my production company. In every instance, my work is guided by the following core principles:

01

Concept First

Concept First

It's not enough to simply make something that looks good. All of my projects begin with a phase of concepting and strategy to understand what needs to be communicated, and how best to do so.

02

Human Touch

Human Touch

I use AI tools rarely, and almost exclusively for research and organization purposes. My work feels like it was made by human hands, and as the internet becomes more and more saturated by low-quality slop, I believe that’s a strength.

03

Vast Network

Vast Network

Over a decade of creative collaboration, I have developed a wide network of artists and designers with a variety of expertise. I call on these friends and colleagues depending on the needs of the project.

New Ideas

New Ideas

The media ecosystem is oversaturated, to say the least. The best way I've found to cut through the noise is to make things that feel thoughtfully and meaningfully new. I balance an understanding of current design trends with a commitment to new and boundary-pushing visual ideas.
